a friend of mine had that move down about 15 years ago, with this slant:

when someone would perform a particularly choice demonstration of driving stupidity, he
would open up a huge SE grin on them, and reaching one hand out the sunroof and one out
the window, applaud their maneuver with his hands outside the car while continuing to
drive.

not that i recommend it at all, but it was fairly amusing.
