Sv: Supercharger information?
I have not done this to an Audi - but at 454 and 502 Chevy:
The use of a centrifugal supercharger which works as a "blow through".
Vortex and ProCharger have kits for different engines and applications.
Both fuel injections and carburetted.
Then you don't use another intake manifold.
The charger is just a litte bigger than the A/C compressor and need
a pulley.
The hole system is pressurized, so you press the air down through the
carburettet.
(Have not done it to a fuel injection engine but the systems exist too)
The gasoline pressure is regulatet up and down the same amount as the boost
pressure
through the gasoline pressure regulator - quite simple.
Then the standard carburetter works as it always have done - and mounting of
bigger carb
due to more Hp's is not needed.
6 Psi of boost make appr. 45% more power.
