I think Energy Suspension will carry for the more popular recent
model Audis and the 80/90 cars. I can't remember the name of the
tuning shop that listers speak of who make Delrin bushings for
control arms, stabilizer bars and subframe bushings. If I remember
correctly the Delrin don't do the squeaking (??).

Local guy here in Cape Town, South Africa. He makes polyurethane
and nylon bushings for race cars and dragsters. He indicated about
$15 per bushing made from a 75 shaw (shore?) hardness material.
Stiffer than rubber, lasts longer, cheaper than the agents can
provide for the rubber units. I don't know if he can made up
rear mounts for the subframe. Audi are asking a fair bit for the
rear mounts for some reason.
Stabilizer bar will also get bushings made as I see it is
nice and clean around the bushing's location as compared to the
rest of the bar...does that indicate lateral bar movement or what?
The guy also said they're not much more noisier than running the
rubber mounts if we use the 75 hardness. All this will be sorted
out again when I get around to getting the bushings and mounts to
him for a proper look-see.
