Speaking of chancellor: Has Audi (or the press) said anything further about
making Chancellor Schroeder's one-off long-wheelbase A8 a regular product?
Though at +5" for the WB, it doesn't seem worth it... 
(Off-topic: a factory-stretched MB W123 lives in town here (MA, USA), very neat
car.
By the German bumpers, it appears to be a grey import - were these ever
officially
imported? And how rare are they? I've never even seen a single one in Germany.
Only saw a 260D in a picture book, and now this 300D. Only-ever Diesel limo?)
