But Dan drives a quattro!?!?! and the appropriate term of deference is
"beloved listmeister", usually with a personalised adjectival phrase
added (i.e. "from whom all creations grace emanates" or some such).

The common ritual of tossing a maligned Audi part deep into the English
countryside is optional.
