Re: Audi 100 Gives up Ghost for Owner
jab86@cornell.edu decided to speak these words:
>my dad is wise. if i have the choice, i'm taking the tree, because that
>way i will not choose the alternative that kills or cripples someone.
This is somewhat reminiscent of what i tell many of my customers who are
opting between an A6 or an SUV. When asked to compare the safety, i say
flat out that both are safe (they are). the difference, i say, is that,
in my opinion i would rather be in an A6. I know i will survive the
crash, and i know that the other person, the person i hit, will most
likely survive as well. I would prefer to be hurt myself than to find
that my vehicle killed someone simply because it didnt have the correct
engineering for safety.
I know i didnt explain it very well, but im tired and its late. I think
you all get my point...
The funny thing is that i have now converted i think 5 people from
getting into an SUV and instead into an A6 Avant using this analogy,
along with several other benefits to owning an Audi. People arent as
dumb as they seem, they just need all the information....
