It was a good laugh, on many levels.  With the Germans fame for not
having a sense of humor, having a lister or two explain the joke is
appropriate to the list.  There is a great commercial here in the US (for
you 4Nrs) that features a German stand up comic, can't do it justice with
words.

(With heavy German Accent)  "How many Germans does it take to replace a
light bulb?  NONE, If manufactured correctly.  Tank U, I will be here all
ze week."
