ur-q wont crank

Ok,
	So I park the new ur-q for a month.  It was cranking.  Battery was
toast so I just put in a different one and am using BOTH jumper cables to
hook between the Negative Post and the Battery Ground strap since the
strap wont reach.
	Voltage gauge reads 12v but no crank.  Is there a FUSE or
something to checki.
	Bently doesn't even seem to have an 83' ur=q wiring schematic.
