Drive-by-wire could open up for some "funny" situations. Imagine this:

* Somebody manages to hack into the ECU and make a radio reciever to
fit into the "box". 
* Then, you can control the throttle on the "hacked" car by remote
control..
* Somebody else drives the car, suddenly the car floors the
accelerator and the driver says "sudden acceleration".

New "60 Minutes" here? Maybe I can get a very cheap A4 in about 10
years? :-)
