Rebuilding PS lines -100q
There has been talk on the list over the years about rebuilding the
hydraulic power steering lines for the rack, pump and bomb. Most of this
has related to the 5k series, and the verdict was ~$20 and 20 minutes at any
hydraulic hose place.
Well, I've got a set of lines for the 100/200 series that use orings instead
of crush washers. I've visited three different hose places in the area,
including the local Parker supplier, and no luck. They all say they don't
have the ends, don't use the same crimps, and can't reuse the end
fittings... Grrr.
Any other suggestion? Has anyone has the PS lines with orings rebuilt
before?
Thanks!
