How about 9.3:1 and 1.8bar absolute with a K24.
Sorry, you have to have a couple of extra
valves per cylinder, but Audi did make it...
'91 200 20V and following S4/S6.

The 1.8T follows the same line of thinking.
Relatively high CR, relatively low boost (stock),
small turbo for quick spool up.

What you want though, is the 3B engine (91 200 20V).
