I've recently done my heater valve. It was leaking internally, i.e. not
shutting off coolant flow, even though the diaphram and internal valve's
were shutting. All metal one from CTC, $21.

_Much_ cooler air out the vents now (my A/C is broken)...but if I had
working A/C, I'l bet performance would improve dramaticly!

Check your valve for diaphram integrity (is it getting vacuum?) and then
check the controller. Mine doesn't activated the servo for the valve, so
I've added a connector to run that vacuum circuit to straight vacuum. Guess
I'll change it back when I need heat.
