Keep blowing fuses on '86 4000csq.

My #12 fuse blew on last friday, and since then it has gone through 2
more - one right after another. The #12 fuse controls the turn signals,
the Voltage and oil temp display in the console and the temp, fuel and
tach in the instrument panel. After I install the new fuse, everything
works for about 20 seconds after I start the car, then the fuse blows
again. Any ideas of what could be causing the fuse to blow?

I recently installed Euro lights on the car and did some rewiring in the
process. Do you think this could be the reason for the blown fuses? In
my rewiring, I installed new relays and separate fuses for the lights as
suggested by other list members.

Any help would be appreciated.
