four speed five speed

Gotta problem developing on my 86 5KS: Fifth gear is getting hard to find.
Reverse was never easy, but for the last few days, getting into fifth has
become progressively more difficult. Tranny works perfectly, doesn't jump
out of gear, whine, or anything - this appears to be a linkage problem.

Checked the Bentley and the Haynes, and found out I have the early 86,
single shifter rod linkage, plus the double ball end cross link they all have.

Sounds to me like a worn out plastic bushing somewhere - any suggestions or
BTDTs, maybe including part numbers?
