was new Audi's, now a rant and a ?

How can anyone one prefer VW over Audi?  I understand VW can be a great 
substitute, but it is not the real thing.  Out of two Audi's I have had only 
a few problems, too bad they have been all in the auto I have now.  In some 
ways I would love to have my 90csq back. Oh well at least my newer car is 
styled nicer except for the ugly tail lights.  I have owned three or four 
Vw's three siroccos and a cabriolet.  They were/are fun to drive, but over 
time you can tell the difference in quality(what German tin can junk), and 
about the ten year warranty, You better hope you have a great relationship 
with you service dept. because the one I always dealt with loved to screw me. 
 I mean they would not warrant a damn thing, the brain went out in the 
cabriolet(due to moisture) and they were not going to cover it. Oh when the 
car was a month old it had already gone back for complaints on the alignment. 
They told us not to worry about it.  Two months later, it goes back with 
radials showing on the inner side of one of the front tires and one of the 
rear tires. They told us we should have had that taken care of earlier and 
they would ad could not cover the tires or alignment now. MArshall VW in 
panama city has the nicest people up front, but their service manager and 
employees in the service dept. if still the same as a few years back are the 
biggest f******* crooks.  Because of them and what they have done to my 
father in the past I will never buy from them or recommend going to them.  
they only Vw on the pallet to buy is a mid 60's ghia convt, and since I can 
work on that one why should I ever have a complaint.

Oh by the way does anyone else hate the A4 tailights, I do not mean the 
colors?  I mean take a look at the 90's, 100's and the A8. The lights cover 
the whole rear end, not just the outer portions.  Why would Audi do this to 
their autos.  Hopefully they will sooner or later switch them back, if not 
after graduating from this hell, formally know as Auburn, I will have to 
purchase a nice A8 or even a 90 csq cont.  The ghia is my ball and chain's 
pick.
