'86 5000s Window Work + Electricals + Non-working Odometer

    The '86 5000s has made it's way home for a month and needs some minor
repairs.  The passenger's front window has decided to move in jerky motions,
now to the point where it cannot make it's way up without help.  Any
thoughts, motor works, but maybe it's off track?  I have never ventured into
a 5000 door so what can I expect in comparison to an '88 80?
    Also complaning about much of the stereo system.  Front speakers are
misbehaving possibly due to loose connections.  How does one access those
speakers since the grilles seem fixed?  The Clarion in-dash CD player has
also been causing some fuse probelms.  Twice the fuse for fuel gauge and
some illumination has gone out due to high bass levels according to my
sister.  It was mentioned to her to check the radio ground, any other
suggestions before I go hog wild on her stereo?
    Odometer no longer works.  Happened after the master cylinder was
replaced.  How does a 5000s instrument cluster work?  Am I looking at a
mechanical cable style odometer or an electrical deal?
