The local distributor here has a retail store attached.
As for vent tubes, at full price for the battery, they
just give you one if you ask.  They even offered to install
the battery I bought.  It wasn't going in the car I was driving
and I said it was easy enough anyway.  They joked that if it
wasn't they wouldn't offer to do it!

The recommended battery for the type 44s is one of their
best.  I only replaced mine as a precaution before going to
Steamboat Springs this year.  At -15 deg F, the car
started fine and was being used to tow other cars around the
parking lot to get them started (the 5W30 Mobil 1 and fresh
coolant helped too of course)!

The battery I took out was a 'cheaper' Interstate.  It's now
doing service in a friend's 4k.
