5000s Rack Leak

    It is the rack for sure!  Start car drive a bit, once around the
driveway and bingo there is a nice slippery coating of fresh pentosin on the
underside of the rack dead center.  The car should get a rebuilt job from
Jorgen for $200 and the local mechanic will do it and send the core back.  I
don't know why the mechanic thinks that it needs a full four wheel alignment
after a rack change?  It is the original rack so this rack has lived a long
lifetime.  Now the brake warning light comes on when the car is driven at
all.  I mean this rack is leaking big time when the car is on and being
driven.  When the engine is off there is no leaking what so ever.
