I saw a similar occurance (truck off boat ramp pad) here in North Carolina 
last year, though it has a much better ending.  Guy let his girl back his 
4x4 Nissan truck down the ramp, and she backs it right off the edge of the 
concrete pad.  To get it out, we first unhooked the trailer.  What a novel 
idea!!  Then 4 bystanders hopped behind the truck and lifted while the guy 
gently applied the throttle.  The truck pulled right out.  Then I unraveled 
the winch from my Ford and pulled the trailer up the ramp, with the same 
assistants lifting it up the ledge when we got to that point.  No problem, 
no damage.
