it really depends what you are looking for. I really loved the 90 csq  I 
owned before my current A4. It never had a problem except for a brief time 
when there was a hesitation in acceleration. It eventually cleared itself and 
I cannot find one other problem.  I do beleive the 90 had more of a sport 
feel to it, it had a sport suspension vs a regular suspension on the a4.  My 
a4 is a great car, but it has had its share of problems.  The quality and 
feel of the interior seems a little higher in the a4, and the styling of the 
exterior minus the tail lamps is far superior.  It just seems a little more 
refined in general.
