is there a relay that runs the afterrun rad fan on the typ44?

i am still trying to find out why my rad fan will not come on when the 
ignition is off, and the car is hot, on my '86 5kTQ.
i am assuming that it's not a thermostat, as the rad fan cycles on and off 
just fine while the ignition is on.

is there a relay that controls the cycling on and off of the afterrun rad fan 
operation once the ignition is off?
