With my wife about to depart on a 2,000 mile trip, I wanted a VERY 
compact CB radio for the good ole' 1990 Audi 200.

And did I ever find it...the Cobra 75-WX-ST.  This thing is a gem!!  
Every control is contained in the handset - including 7  preset 
weather channels, automatic switch to toggle between channels 9 
and 19, plus two other channel memories.  Ability to scan two 
channels at once.  Even Cobra's new Soundtracker noise 
suppression.  The handset literally does it all, including containing 
both the speaker and mike.

Now, all of this has a multi-multi-function LCD display on the mike 
which is really nice. But here's the kicker: the radio body into which 
the mike plugs is TINY.  I mean it's about the size of two plastic Bic 
lighters stacked on top of each other!!  We're talking about a radio 
body only about 3 inches long, with height and width each about 1.5 
inches.  Shoot, it's so small that the antenna connector fills one 
whole side.  It fits ANYwhere!  Any sports car would have room for 
this....it's really neat.

I even mounted the entire radio body on the front frame of the 
passenger side power seat!!  And since the seat has power at all 
times, there was a convenient 12v+ source about six inches away.  I 
could not believe how incredibly compact this unit was.  This is a 
very, very nice radio and the price is more than fair.
