Re: Speedometer problem '865KCSQT



I've not experienced speedo problems (well, not with my Audi automobiles,
anyway), Ben, but from what I've read here repeatedly, there often is a
mechanical component to the operation of the head, even if it's responding
to electronic signals.  Seems gears inside slip out of their original
location and then nothing happens.  Repair descriptions in the archives (if
you can locate them) indicate what's needed to set the gears back in place
and then fasten them for a secure repair.
