Yes, this list is to share info about Audis and how to repair them.  BUT, 
the list is also about helping people help themselves.  Do you have the 
Bentley?  If so, there is a whole chapter on the trans.  If you don't have 
it, go buy it.  There is no substitute for it.  What you're asking about is 
a little more involved than "my tappets are clicking" or "how to replace 
the little bulbs in the window switches" or ....

It's like learning a foreign language.  You need a dictionary.  Then come 
back and ask the list about the meaning of a specific word, not to 
translate your entire thesis into Audian.  All we're asking for is that you 
do your own homework first and then come to us with questions about the 
parts you don't understand....
