Electrical questions 95 90q

All,

Have owned my 95 90q sport for about 6 weeks now and have a couple
questions for those in the know.  I do love the car just want to check
on these couple items.

1.    Took a 50 mile drive up to New Haven and after lunch and some site
seeing the car would not start I mean dead no click no nothing.
Thinking the battery might be drained I checked other electrical items.
Tried the key again and well the alarm goes off.  hmm this is anoying it
did stop after 90 seconds or so.  Not knowing what else to do I tried
the Microsoft approach.  Got out of the car locked the doors, unlocked
the doors got in and started the car.  And drove off.  Well is this a
problem what caused et al.

2.    At certain temp and car speed combos there is a buzzing in the
dash.  I traced it and appears to be related to the fan coming on and
off.  Seems to be the system can not make up its mind and there is a
relay cycling on and off.  In my search I noticed fuse 5 and 20 missing
according to the owners manual (leading to my next question) these are
for medium fan control.  I am reluctant to replace them in case there
was somting else wrong that this might exaserbate.

3.    Which Bentley manual to buy?  There is one that covers only up to
92 than some kind of multi volume set that may or may not cover what I
want and the price was a little crazy too.

By the way the car is covered under Audi assured, but want to know whats
going on before I go to the dealer of course.
