Have owned my 95 90q sport for about 6 weeks now and have a couple
questions for those in the know. I do love the car just want to check
on these couple items.

1. Took a 50 mile drive up to New Haven and after lunch and some site
seeing the car would not start I mean dead no click no nothing.
Thinking the battery might be drained I checked other electrical items.
Tried the key again and well the alarm goes off. hmm this is anoying it
did stop after 90 seconds or so. Not knowing what else to do I tried
the Microsoft approach. Got out of the car locked the doors, unlocked
the doors got in and started the car. And drove off. Well is this a
problem what caused et al.

Sounds to me like you unlocked the car, but did not disable the alarm. The
front door lock cylinders turn a toothed wheel that enables and disables the
alarm; if you do not fully turn the key to lock or unlock, the alarm may not
arm/disarm. It is also possible that someone "fixed" the door lock at some
point, and did not index the teeth on the alarm switch properly.
