Re: Used engine question - Audi content
This is not uncommon in Audis hit in the front. Many times the
engine/accessory mounting can survive without further repair but it is
possible to weld, using correct materials, or to braze the pieces back (pay
a pro and do it while engine is out and with bracket as guide). The rest of
the engine is probably fine, though there is always the chance.......before
repair you could have that area magna-fluxed and ask the seller pay for
checking.
