Re: Gauge mounting? typ44
I ripped out all the switches above the climate control and put three
52mm gauges there "Turbo", "Oil" and "Volt". These are from the VDO
Vision series which match the car gorgeously with red lighting.
Installation details including photos will be presented on the list
soon.
Considering that my seat heaters are broken (and I don't even know
that I like heated seats) and that disabling the ABS seem like a
useless feature, I really only have to find a new home for the rear
window defogger switch.
As I was gutting the switch assembly I was eyeballing the ashtray as a
potential relocation spot for the switches. This may still happen.
