Re: Charging problem on '87 5k
If it is the regulator, then it is relatively cheap and easy to replace. I
was quoted around $25US. (A year ago when I thought mine was bad.)
Just two screws on the back of the alternator. (Need to remove plastic
shield first, of course.)
