'90 200TQW stereo wiring

So I'm in the process of figuring out how the original connectors in my
wagon will mesh with a relatively new Blaupunkt head unit. I've been looking
through the wiring diagrams in Bentley and some of the connections seem a
bit odd. I know why the white wires go to the seatbelt chime, antenna
amplifier, etc.; that all seems pretty logical. But what about the
white/blue lead off of the bottom 8-pin connector that goes to the cruise
control unit (if I read the track correctly)? I'm guessing the yellow and
green leads on the 10 pin connector work along with the violet data wire to
provide the station info on the auto-check display. 

Blaupunkt doesn't provide much pinout information on their new decks. Only
the obvious ones like power, speakers, etc. are labelled. I'm guessing that
even though the pins are there, the data won't display on the dash anymore. 

Any BTDTs on putting a newer Blaupunkt unit in a 200-era Audi?
