Re: 4000 Q black smoke
Possibly a leaking cold start valve. Pull it out and disconnect the
electrical connector. Disconnect the coil wire and ground it. Operate the
starter for a few seconds. If any fuel comes out of the cold start valve
then that is at least part of your problem.
