Charging Problems with 90 20vq

I need some help,
I need some recommendations of where else to troubleshoot,

I have recently picked up my fist 20v and am already having electrical
problems. A couple of days ago while driving the volts began to run down
into the danger area setting of the idiot lights. I of course assumed it
was the battery or alternator so pulled each one off the car and them bench
tested at several places-all of which said that both were fine and should
not be causing the problem. I check all the fuses and none are burned out.
The battery is only a month only according to the date on the top of it so
there should not be a bad cell in it. The charging runs down only while
driving and I do not get any idiot lights while sits unstarted but with the
key turned (if that means anything?). The low voltage did not start
occurring until about 4 days after purchasing the vehicle.

So my question is where else to trouble shoot. I have not picked up a
Bentley yet (So if you have a used one you want to sell, any condition drop
me a line).

Is there a voltage regulator that I can check. Also I removed a hands free
phone system from the car after buying it, but the problems did not start
until several days after removing it. Could that be the possible cause?

Please let me know if you have had a similar experience or any ideas. If
anyone in the Seattle area has a volt meter or can help I would really
appreciate it. The thought of taking this car to the shop for an electrical
problem scares me.

Thanks,
Chad Frederick
