There is. Not worth rebuilding tho. BTDT.
The walls become too pitted and the piston sticks in the bore. Net
result - broke the clutch pedal. Twice. Beginning '87 all type-44
received the very fragile Aluminium clutch pedals which retail for $91
ea. A new cylinder is around $60.
Scott Mockry had also broken his pedal. And somebody else did too.
Oh, wait. Yours is '84. You have a steel clutch pedal. I would still
replace the master, the slave and the pressure hose. You would not
believe the amount of muddy crud accumulated on the bottom of your slave
since '84.
