The ducting on my '86 is a two-piece affair. The front piece has
two clips holding it to the bumper cover, and the back piece is fixed
onto the cooler bracketry. The easiest way to get at all of this
stuff is to just pull the bumper off. Two 8? mm allen screws and a
couple of marker light wires, voila, it's off. I think I've timed
removal at about 45 seconds on a good night. :) Replacement is a
bit trickier, but if you have a couple of kids hanging around to
guide the ends back in it's no problem.
