Although this is waayyy off the subject (forgive me), I've had fairly good 
success pushing Velvia two stops (ISO 160) when shooting autocross events and 
car races ... the contrast increases but not too badly and everybody seems to 
like the way the saturated colors flatter their cars.  Of course, having fast 
glass is helpful, too.  :^)
