Soccer practice

No, not explicitly about the Audi commercial, but I thought of it last
night.

It was the first day of this season's soccer practice for my 8-year-old
daughter, whose team includes most of the girls who were together last
season.  Since all our families are friends, we resumed last year's
practice of having a barbecue in the park (which thoughtfully provides
grills) after practice, and practice ends at a time that I can
conveniently arrive after work.

So I motored up to the off-street parking lot, which is adjacent to the
barbecue grounds, in my non-Audi, and in addition to having the good
luck of seeing someone else just leaving (thereby freeing up a parking
spot for me), I mentally ticked off the other vehicles in the lot:

Grey Sport ute.
Grey Minivan.
Black Sport ute.
Green Minivan.
Beige Minivan.
Grey Sport ute.
White Sport ute.
Grey Minivan.
Mars Red Audi Coupe GT.

I just grinned, grateful that I would be going home with the one soccer
mom who was clearly a lot more exciting than the rest. :-)
