Re: 91 door lock problem

Hi Jon;

    I had this problem on my '91 200q several years ago. Audi has a
re-designed replacement lock cylinder to fix this. It costs about CDN$30 as
I recall. You can re-use your lock core so you don't have to re-key the
lock.
    The link posted by Kneale is very good. I didn't have to remove the door
handle. I removed the locking clip which secures the lock mechanism and
removed only the lock. It took a bit of fiddling to get the locking clip on
again, but with a bit of perseverance it can be done.
