An added benefit to running different offsets front and rear is a slightly 
wider front track, which helps reduce understeer.  I'm running 8x17 wheels on 
my '89 200q using offsets very similar to the above (33mm front, 45mm rear) 
and have had no body contact problems whatsoever with either 215/45-17 BFG 
Comp T/As or Dunlop SP-8000s ... rotating them is a pain, though.
