More projects/seat heater

I have another open can of worms that I need to fix for the winter. It is the 
seat heater on the drivers side of my 200TQ.  The entire seat stopped heating 
last winter, I took the seat out and started to remove the leather cover, but 
once I saw several wires and more than one heating element I realized it 
would be unlikely that all the elements are bad. \

Is there another weak link in the wiring that I should check before checking 
the heating elements?

Thanks again, hopefully I can start contributing to this great list instead 
of always taking... I am starting to feel guilty.
