Not necessarily true, and it still only takes one thing to take down
the whole seats heat. Usually, it is one of the wires in the seat
bottom heater. I put a new one in my 89 200Q, and the seat was working
again. I seem to remember trouble shooting the continuity with an ohm
meter and looking at the bentley wiring diagram. I found a bad wire in
the seat bottom element and replaced it with a new one.
A little electrical troubleshooting is required on this one.
