RE: A/C System and Thermoswitch

Typically it is fitted in the bottom of the upper coolant flange on the
cylinder head. It has 3 or 4 wires going to it, clips on the connector break
easily.

		Subject:	A/C System and Thermoswitch

I have an 1989 Audi 200T and I was trying to diagnose my A/C
system. I
have the Bentley manuals and after following the diagnostic
procedure of
reading the codes off my climate control unit, I came to a
point that I
can't contiue. The basic problem is that I need to
disconnect the
		"Electronic Thermoswitch (multi-function temperature sensor)
F76", but I
do not know what it is and more importantly where it is. I
was hoping
somebody on the list might know the answer and would be
willing to share
their knowledge. I am basically at the end of my rope, and
any help will
		be greatly appreciated.

		Thanks in advance,
		Rahul
