I always had an easier time with the earlier coupes there. The later
ones, you definitley need a helper pulling on the metal spring tab at
the top corners (one at a time) while you lift inside the vehicle. Then
it's easy. Helper pulls on a chain with a hook on the end or some such
affair. This disengages the spring tab from the metal projection on the
body.
