5kt transplants are not what I would consider "cheap".  Then again, I'm a
graduate student.  Oscar Meyer hot dogs aren't "cheap" either, to me.
Other than that, you are not beating any of your friend's cars.  I'd say,
bet them in the winter, collect the $$$, and _then_ do the transplant.
