What does 'overheated' really mean?  On some cars it's just the system's
way of telling you the coolant level is wrong or the system hasn't
been bled properly.  Put the front up on ramps - if there's a bleed bolt
on top of the radiator, remove it.  Set the heater controls to warm.
Unscrew the header tank and lift it a couple of inches.  Now slowly
fill the header tank until water runs out of the bleed bolt.  Tighten
it (not too much - it's brass) and then carry on filling until the
header tank is between min and max.
