I was explaining the problems posed by my imminent lifestyle change
at the Group B Car Club meeting at Castle Combe today.

I need an Avant with a tow hitch, preferably standard Audi - the version
that fits deep into the chassis rails.  "OK," says the guy I'm talking
to, "mine's for sale".

An Audi 100 Avant, "G" plate and "K" VIN, in Tornado Red.  With working
a/c.  And tow hitch.  GBP3000 (USD5000?).  Cloth seats, no heaters.  No
roof rails.  No sunroof.

But a beautiful MC-2 engine with no cats.

It's mine.
