RE: Metric hex Allen socket
First off, let me say Allen should be shot for inventing the tool whose
name bears his. Mr. Torx did a much better job, and doesn't slip nearly as
much.
Now to answer you question in my area at least (Eastern North Carolina).
The local Auto Zone has a large assortment of metric allen sockets. I got
a set of three with a 14, 17, and 19 for 15 bucks. You can get a bigger
set as well.
The Sears allen sockets always disappoint me, they seem to be made of soft
metal, and will strip in a heartbeat (the tool, not the bolt).
