Yup.  Audi (UK) sells a Peltier-effect coolbox guaranteed to lower the
temperature of the contents to 15 degrees below ambient.  I figure if
I mount it in a jacket fed directly off the air conditioning outlet,
I should be able to get a reliable 4 degrees Celcius or so.  They make
12v microwave ovens now, but laptops with 1280x1024 resolution are still
expensive.
