I considered doing this when my blower motor went to hell, but then I
thought "As long as I spent so much time and effort getting this thing out
of there, I might as well replace the whole darn thing." And now
(hopefully) I'll never go through that again. Seriously, it's hardly worth
replacing just the brushes. I have several used blower motors from a local
junkyard on hand(just in case it happens in one of my other 5k's). I pretty
much stole them at $5.00 each.
