Stainless steel steering rack or regular

Folks,

The time has come to replace the steering rack on my V8.  Actually, its long
overdue for it, the green pools just getting larger..

I called around and the price quoted were as follows: w/servotronic ~$775
w/o ~$499 @Blau
Is there another option that I need to explore, like the stainless steel rack?
