	frs is correct.  the motorolas have "privacy codes" - which
	is some kind of carrier wave within the selected channel and
	a filtering feature - turns 14 channels into 300 or something,
	so we'll be channel 4, code 20 on the motorola system.

	i am not at all sure about compatability.  it's very likely
	that motorola's privacy code system is propriatary, that's
	the best design for their interestes.  anyway, we could just
	choose channel 4, no code...
